Havre Police Department

A vehicle crash was reported on Third Street Friday at 12:19 p.m.

Officers assisted with a Friday 12:49 p.m. report from Child Protective Services.

A summons was issued after someone stopped at the police station Friday at 2:42 p.m. asking to speak with an officer about a harassment issue.

Ronald Charles Carpenter of Havre, 76, was arrested on a driving under the influence charge, after a caller at a First Street West establishment reported that man fell and then was getting into a vehicle.

Arnold Louis Reddog of Havre, 26, was arrested on charges of failure to carry vehicle insurance and driving with a suspended or revoked driver's license and on eight Justice or City court warrants during a vehicle stop on Seventh Avenue Friday at 8:58 p.m.

A 13th Avenue caller reported Saturday at 12:33 a.m. that a juvenile had not returned home yet.

A disturbance was reported on Fourth Avenue at 4:51 a.m. Saturday.

An arrest was made after a 14th Avenue caller reported Saturday at 6:37 a.m. that someone tried to break into a home. No details on charges were provided.

A caller at the hospital reported a cat bite victim Saturday at 2:48 p.m.

Savannah Lee Toms of Havre, 20, was issued a summons on charges of false ID by minor to get alcohol and minor in possession after a caller at a First Street establishment asked officers Saturday at 10:35 p.m. for assistance with questions about an ID.

Irvine Cole Bigknife of Havre, 29, was arrested on two Justice or City court warrants after a Second Street caller reported someone was trying to enter a family member's home Sunday at 6:55 a.m.

A 24/7 Sobriety Program violation was reported at the police station Sunday at 8 a.m.

A hit and run crash was reported at a First Street business Sunday at 12:51 p.m.

Fred Nashookpuk of Box Elder, 37, was arrested on a disorderly conduct charge after a caller at a First Street West business reported a man passed out in the building Sunday at 1:07 p.m.

Cory James Ahenakew of Havre, 37, was issued a summons on a disorderly conduct charge after a caller on Fourth Avenue and Fourth Street reported a man urinating on a building Sunday at 2:41 p.m.

--

A Sunday 6:35 p.m. caller at a First Street business reported a man speaking Russian. The dispatch log said no further action was required.

Officers investigated a suspicious 911 call from Ninth Avenue at 1:38 a.m. today.

Christian Lee Morsette of Box Elder, 21, was arrested on charges of assault with a weapon and driving without vehicle insurance after a caller off Fifth Avenue reported a man with a gun at 3:05 a.m. today.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

Vandalism was reported at Box Elder School Friday at 10:42 a.m.

Michael Dess of Havre, 19, was issued a summons on a shoplifting charge after a theft was reported at U.S. Highway 2 West business Friday at 1:26 p.m.

Deputies responded to an animal control issue reported on Rich Street Friday at 8:41 p.m.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical technicians responded to five calls Friday, four calls Saturday, five calls Sunday and one call early this morning. One of the Sunday calls was accompanying a fire crew to the 1900 Block of Second Street for a gas odor reported at 4:03 p.m.

Bear Paw Volunteer Fire Department

A fire crew responded to a Saturday 1:56 p.m. report of smoke in the area of the Eagle Creek Fire in the Bear Paw Mountains. Fire Chief Josh Bebee said that the fire was a hot spot that flared up within the contained area of Eagle Creek Fire. It was quickly extinguished by responding fire crews.

Havre Animal Shelter

The shelter this morning held 11 kittens of unknown gender, four male kittens, three male cats, six female cats and one female kitten.

The shelter also held five 18-week-old mixed-breed puppies, three 6-week-old mixed-breed puppies, a female 21-week-old German shepherd puppy, one 16-week-old mixed-breed puppy, a female 6-month-old border collie puppy, and two female and two male mixed-breed dogs. Additionally, four 13-week-old puppies and one male dog, all mixed-breeds, were being fostered, and nine 6-week-old puppies and two female dogs, all mixed-breed, were being held separately.

Births

A girl was born Friday, Sept. 23, 2022, to Kobi Burchard and Ethan Woods of Havre.
