Havre Police Department

After a no-show at a 24/7 Sobriety Program no-show, officers issued a summons at 8 a.m. Thursday on a charge of criminal contempt to John Melvin Birdtail of Havre, 30.

After a no-show at a 24/7 Sobriety Program no-show, officers issued a summons on a charge of criminal contempt Thursday at 8 a.m. to Darrin Dean Longfox Jr. of Hays, 26.

After receiving a call from a park on 11th Street, officers arrested Fernando Herminio Bautista of Havre, 29, on four Justice/City court warrants.

Officers investigated a report at 11:50 a.m. Thursday of a possible crashed vehicle on Fifth Avenue and Sixth Street.

After officers received a report at 2:36 p.m. Thursday from Washington Avenue of a small German shepherd running around loose, the animal was taken to the Havre Animal Shelter.

A caller at 7:45 p.m. Thursday from Fifth Street reported a deer missing a hind leg.

--

After a caller from Smithville Road at 10:25 p.m. Thursday reported a male suspect threatening minors, officers arrested Andrew Boggs of Havre, 18, on charges of robbery; theft, all others; obstructing a peace officer or public servant, and assault on a minor, and made a juvenile arrest on a 15-year-old on charges of obstructing a peace officer or public servant.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

During a motor vehicle stop at 2:41 p.m. Thursday on Beaver Creek Road, deputies arrested Taylor Martin Spotted Horse of Rocky Boy, 29, on Justice/City court warrants.

Deputies investigated an 8:07 p.m. Thursday report of theft, forgery or fraud at a U.S. Highway 2 West business.

Havre Fire Department

Havre Fire Department personnel responded to five medical calls Thursday and one early this morning.

Havre Fire Department firefighters responded to a fire alarm from the 3900 Block of U.S. Highway 2 West at 9:40 Thursday morning. The alarm, which was from a test at the location, was canceled en route.

Havre Animal Shelter

The shelter this morning held one cat and eight kittens all of unknown gender, four male cats, two female kittens and three female cats, along with three 7-month-old kittens in the trap-neuter-release program

The shelter also held four mixed-breed puppies, a male boxer-pit bull cross, a male Labrador retriever, one female and one male mixed-breed dogs, a male terrier-dachshund-cross, a male pit bull-Labrador-cross, a male Siberian husky and a male German shepherd. Additionally, three 17-week-old puppies and one male dog, all of mixed-breed, were being fostered, and nine 9-week-old mixed-breed puppies were being held separately.
