Hill County Sheriff's Office
Triston Johnson of Havre, 20, was issued a summons on charges of speeding and no driver's license during a vehicle stop on U.S. Highway 2 West Wednesday at 8:55 a.m.

Deputies investigated a 12:55 p.m. Wednesday report referred from the police department that a passenger in a car assaulted the caller.

Deputies responded with emergency medical technicians at a medical call in front of Box Elder School at 2:50 p.m., and a 2:51 p.m. call reported a man laying in the middle of the road in front of the school.
Havre Fire Department
Emergency medical technicians responded to six calls Wednesday.

Firefighters responded with an ambulance to two calls, one at 2:39 p.m. to a vehicle crash on the 100 Block of Seventh Avenue where one person was treated for minor injuries but was not transported to the hospital, and the other with NorthWestern Energy to the 1900 Block of U.S. Highway 2 West for a gas smell where two people were checked, but no one needed transport to medical care.
Havre Animal Shelter
The shelter this morning held five cats all of unknown gender, three female cats and three male cats, along with five feral cats in the trap-neuter-release program.

The shelter also held a male Shih Tzu-poodle cross, a male and a female mixed-breed dogs and16 mixed-breed puppies of varying ages from 10 weeks to 10 months. Additionally, a male dog and a female dog with 10 puppies, all of mixed-breeding, were being housed off-site.
