Havre Police Department

Jaxon Devereaux of Havre, 32, was issued a summons on a vandalism charge after a caller reported Wednesday at 8:21 a.m. that a man was running up and down the hallway of a Fifth Avenue facility saying that he was going to hurt people.

A hit and run crash was reported on Cowan Drive Wednesday at 8:37 a.m.

A two-vehicle car crash was reported at Fifth Avenue and 13th Street at 9:24 a.m. Wednesday.

A two-vehicle car crash was reported at Fifth Avenue and 10th Street Wednesday at 9:51 a.m.

A caller at Havre Middle School reported Wednesday at 6:27 p.m. that a student was assaulted by another student.

Two arrests were made after a motor vehicle stop Wednesday at 10:56 p.m. on First Street. No details on charges were provided in the dispatch log, but two people who were named as involved parties were listed in this morning's jail roster. Kurt Allan Eagleman was being held on a City Court warrant for failure to appear and on charges of driving with a suspended or revoked driver's license and obstructing a peace officer or other public servant, and Aimee Lee Montes was being held on a charge of no vehicle insurance and on two City Court warrants and one Justice Court warrant for failure to appear.

Officers were asked at 3:45 this morning to assist in a pursuit that was on Old Post Road. They were en route to place stop sticks on the road, but the pursuit ended before they arrived.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

Deputies issued a written/verbal warning after a caller on Main Street North in Rudyard reported a mean pitbull running loose at 1:59 p.m. Wednesday.

A 5:25 p.m. Wednesday call about a hay bale obstructing traffic on Wildhorse Road was referred to a service agency.

Deputies were asked at 3:37 a.m. today to assist Rocky Boy Police Department with a pursuit that was headed northbound on Laredo Road. The pursuit ended on Old Post Road at 3:49 a.m. with the vehicle rolled on its top before a deputy could arrive. Two people were transported to the hospital, and Montana Highway Patrol troopers will be investigating the crash. No one with Rocky Boy Police was made available to respond to questions by print deadline.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical technicians responded to five calls Wednesday and one early this morning.

Firefighters accompanied ambulances to three calls responding to vehicle crashes Two calls, one at 9:28 a.m. to 13th Street and Fifth Avenue and the other to Fifth Avenue and 10th Street at 9:53 a.m., had minor damage and no one was transported. The third call was on Old Post Road at 3:50 a.m. today where two people were out of the vehicle, but required transport to the hospital.

Havre Animal Shelter

The shelter this morning held one cat of unknown gender, four male cats and two female cats, along with four cats in the trap-neuter-release program.

The shelter also held six mixed-breed puppies ages 6 to 11 months, one male and one female mixed-breed dogs, a female shepherd-cross, a male pit bull terrier and 11 9-week-old mixed-breed puppies. Additionally, seven 10-week-old puppies and a male dog, all of mixed-breeding, were being housed off-site.
