Hallie Neibauer and the Chinook Sugarbeeters remained undefeated in District 9C play. The 2023 9C girls tournament starts next Wednesday at the Havre High gymnasium.
High school girls basketball returned to the Hi-Line this past week with a whole new slate of exciting games. The week got started last Tuesday with the Harlem Wildcats winning, 45-43, on the road against Rocky Boy.
The week did not get easier for Rocky Boy as it suffered a 77-28 loss to Malta at home Thursday night. The M-Ettes jumped out to a 21-4 lead before taking a 43-20 lead into halftime. Malta then cruised to victory in the second half. Jayci Demontiney led Rocky Boy with 11 points.
