Havre Police Department

Someone stopped at the police station Friday at 10:10 a.m. asking for assistance from officers.

A domestic disturbance was reported at 4:50 p.m. Friday on Grant Avenue.

--

A written or verbal warning was issued after a Friday 7:12 p.m. caller on Ninth Street reported two juveniles threatening to stab each other.

--

A jacket was reported stolen at a First Street establishment Saturday at 7:02 p.m.

--

A two-vehicle crash was reported on First Street at 2:24 a.m. Sunday.

--

Someone stopped at the police station Sunday at 10:13 a.m. asking for assistance from officers.

--

A Seventh Street caller reported someone was threatening to pull a gun at 11:34 a.m. Sunday.

--

The back window was reported broken out of a truck on Second Street Sunday at 1:15 p.m.

Kenneth James Swan Jr. of Havre, 19, was arrested on charges of possession of drug paraphernalia and theft during a vehicle stop on First Street Sunday at 1:45 p.m.

Leena Galan Healy of Havre, 28, was arrested on three Justice or City court warrants and a charge of violation of a no contact order after a Sunday 8:16 p.m. caller reported on First Street Northeast getting kicked out an apartment where people were drinking.

Someone stopped at the police station Sunday at 10:32 p.m. to report their credit card had been used by someone else.

--

Officers responded over the weekend to seven calls about lost, stray and abandoned dogs.

--

Officers also responded to calls about three dead deer found in city limits.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

Russell James Houle Jr. of Havre, 43, was arrested on a state District Court warrant served at Hill County Detention Center Friday at 3:03 p.m.

An assault was reported at a U.S. Highway 2 West business Saturday at 12:41 p.m.

--

Lowanda Lynn Arkinson of Box Elder, 50, was arrested on a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia and on two Justice of City court warrants after a caller reported seeing someone who seemed intoxicated walking along Old Post Road Sunday at 1:17 a.m.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical technicians responded to one call Thursday, five calls Friday, two calls Saturday and three calls Sunday.

Firefighters responded Friday at 11:07 a.m. to a garbage bin on fire on the 600 Block of 15th Street. Fire Chief Nathan Courtnage said discarded materials caused the fire, and the large plastic bin was a complete loss but nothing else was damaged from the fire.

Havre Animal Shelter

The shelter this morning held six male cats and three female cats, and five cats are being held for the trap-neuter-release program.

The shelter also held three male and one female mixed-breed dogs, a female dachshund, a female Australian cattle dog-blue heeler, a male pit bull terrier, one 7-month-old mixed-breed puppy, and 9 11-week-old mixed-breed puppies. Additionally, seven 13-week-old puppies, a female 11-week-old puppy and a male dog, all of mixed-breeding, were being housed off-site.
