Bears, Hawks advance to District 9C Boys championship game

Tracen Jilot and the Box Elder Bears defeated Fort Benton, 64-62, in the semifinal to advance to the District 9C championship game.
On Friday night at Havre High Gymnasium, four teams battled it out in the semifinals of the District 9C Boys Basketball Tournament. In the first game, the Box Elder Bears survived in a 64-62 win over the Fort Benton Longhorns. Later in the night, the Chester-Joplin-Inverness Hawks pulled out a 60-53 win over the Big Sandy Pioneers to advance to the 9C championship game.
