A 14-year-old was issued a summons on a juvenile curfew violation charge after a caller on Sixth Street reported at 7:30 a.m. Tuesday that the juvenile left a note about running away.

Skylah Marie Morsette of Box Elder, 27, was arrested on charges of possession of drug paraphernalia and trespass to vehicles after a caller on Second Street reported finding an unknown female in a family member's car at 11:12 a.m. Tuesday.

An 11:45 a.m. Tuesday caller on First Street reported that a neighbor had pushed all of their snow into the caller's back lot.

A Third Avenue caller reported Tuesday at 2:47 p.m. finding a broken window with blood on it.

A second vehicle crash was reported on Washington Avenue at 4:12 p.m. Tuesday.

A 4:49 p.m. Tuesday caller reported that items had been stolen out of a Fourth Avenue garage within the past week.

A caller at 1:08 a.m. today asked officers to perform a welfare check on someone on 14th Street West.

Officers were called to 17 incidents with vehicles in the snow, including one semitractor-trailer stuck on the viaduct, all between 7:15 a.m. and 11:02 a.m.

Havre Animal Shelter
The shelter this morning held four male cats, two female 7-month-old kittens and three female cats.

The shelter also held six male and one female mixed-breed dogs, a female dachshund, a female Australian cattle dog-blue heeler, a male pit bull terrier, two puppies from 12 weeks to 8 months old and a 22-week-old Australian shepherd puppy. Additionally, five 14-week-old puppies and a male dog, all of mixed-breeding, were being housed off-site.

A girl was born Monday, Feb. 20, 2023, to Monica Eekhoff and Joshua Hendrickson of Havre.
