Havre Police Department

An arrest was made after a woman was reported crying in a First Street business Tuesday at 2:25 p.m. No details on the charges were provided in the dispatch log, but Josephine Arkinson, who was named as an involved party, was listed in this morning's jail roster as being held on a charge of disorderly conduct.

Adult Protective Service reported a sexual offense in the Havre area Tuesday at 2:58 p.m.

Clarissa Mae Messerly of Havre, 31, was arrested on a state District Court warrant after a caller reported Tuesday at 3:50 p.m. that a woman in taking part in treatment court was running from him.

An arrest was made after a caller at the hospital said a woman was causing a ruckus Tuesday at 4:14 p.m. No details on the charges were provided.

A caller at Havre High School asked Tuesday at 5:39 p.m. to speak with an officer about a possible sex offense.

A Second Street caller asked Tuesday at 9:45 p.m. to speak with an officer.

Two arrests were made after a Tuesday 11:45 p.m. caller at a U.S. Highway 2 West business reported a man passed out in a vehicle. No details on charges were provided.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

Sheriff's office dispatch log reported no arrests, summonses or investigations in the 24-hour reporting period.

Montana Highway Patrol

MHP responded to a vehicle crash with an injury in Chinook near Illinois Street and U.S. Highway 2 Monday at 8 p.m. Trooper Christopher Baker said that a vehicle with the driver and one passenger was westbound when the driver lost control of the vehicle, went off the road and hit a fence. The driver suffered sufficient injuries to be transported to the hospital but the passenger was uninjured. Baker added that the driver was not driving carefully enough.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical technicians responded to six calls Tuesday, including accompanying a fire crew to the 10 Block of Third Street West at 11:42 a.m., but no fire was found.

Havre Animal Shelter

The shelter this morning held four cats of unknown gender, five male cats, two female 7-month-old kittens and four female cats.

The shelter also held six male and one female mixed-breed dogs, a female dachshund, a male pit bull terrier, a 22-week-old Australian shepherd puppy, five 11-week-old mixed-breed puppies and six 7-week-old mixed breed puppies. Additionally, an 11-week-old puppy and a male dog, both of mixed-breeding, were being housed off-site.
