Havre Police Department

Someone stopped at the police station Tuesday at 7:51 a.m. to speak with an officer about a possible theft.

A 10th Street West caller reported Tuesday at 10:15 a.m. he was assaulted the previous night at his apartment.

--

An 11-year-old was issued a summons on a charge of underage tobacco possession or consumption after a Tuesday 1:46 p.m. caller at Havre Middle School reported a juvenile with a vape device.

--

Officers investigated a 2:16 p.m. Tuesday report of a stolen car, but the investigation was closed after the owner of the vehicle, who was not the complainant, said they didn't want to press charges.

Cindy Lou Stidham of Havre, 57, was arrested on a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia and on a state District Court warrant served after a Ninth Avenue caller reported a possible drug deal Tuesday at 5:29 p.m.

License plates were reported stolen off a vehicle Tuesday at 6:13 p.m.

Ryan Moses St. Pierre of Box Elder, 21, was arrested on a charge of trespass to property and on a Justice or City court warrant.

--

A caller reported Tuesday at 8:07 p.m. that a person was sleeping in the post office.

--

Adam James Swan of Havre, 36, was arrested on a Justice or City court warrant after a Third Street caller reported a trespasser at a First Street establishment Tuesday at 9:07 p.m.

Jasmin Rose Laforge of Havre, 28, was arrested on charges of obstructing a peace officer or other public servant and possession of drug paraphernalia and on a Justice or City court warrant after an officer at 3:54 a.m. today investigated suspicious activity involving a woman trying to climb the side of a building on First Street.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

A caller at a U.S. Highway 2 West business reported Tuesday at 9:09 a.m. her vehicle had been keyed.

Jesse Lee Schoening of Havre, 33, was arrested on a state District Court warrant served at Hill County Detention Center Tuesday at 1:22 p.m.

--

Vandalism was reported on Rich Street West Tuesday at 5:25 p.m.

--

A drug offense was reported at the detention center at 7:20 p.m. Tuesday.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical technicians responded to two calls Tuesday and two calls Wednesday.

Havre Animal Shelter

The shelter this morning held one cat and two kittens, all of unknown gender, eight male cats and five female cats.

The shelter also held 11 mixed-breed dogs, a male 18-week-old mixed-breed puppy, a 7-month-old mixed-breed puppy and a 17-week-old shepherd puppy. Additionally, four 7-week-old shepherd puppies and a male mixed-breed dog were being housed off-site.
