Local Golf Report: MSU-N golf competes at conference tournament

They only get one tournament in the spring, but it’s a big one. Last week, the Montana State University-Northern golf teams, headed by Jim Kirkpatrick, competed at the Frontier Conference Championships in Las Vegas.

The tournament was held at prestigious Reflection Bay, where the Lights placed fifth overall in the men’s tournament. Gerit Johnson finished in 20th place for Northern with rounds of 89, 98 and 93.
