Havre Police Department

Officers investigated a report from Seventh Street that a man was passed out in a vehicle Monday at 8:42 a.m.

A 15-year-old boy was issued a summons on a charge of underage tobacco possession or consumption after a caller at Havre High School reported a juvenile with a vape pen Monday at 12:26 p.m.

A 15-year-old girl was issued a summons on a charge of underage tobacco possession or consumption after a caller at Havre High School reported a juvenile with a vape pen Monday at 12:52 p.m.

--

Fred Nashookpuk of Havre, 38, was arrested on charges of partner or family member assault, obstructing a peace officer or other public servant, unlawful restraint and violation of a no contact order after a domestic disturbance was reported at 2:07 p.m. Monday on Second Street.

Amari Love Longknife of Havre, 18, was issued a summons at the police station on a criminal contempt charge related to a 24/7 Sobriety Program violation Monday at 8:02 p.m.

A counterfeit $20 bill was reported at a First Street establishment Monday at 11:49 p.m.

Josiah Gopher of Box Elder, 23, was arrested on a charge of assault by coercion, intimidation or threat after a caller reported at 12:49 a.m. today that a man had pulled the fire alarm at an apartment complex on First Street Northeast and a 1:59 a.m. caller there asked for a welfare check on someone.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

A theft, forgery or fraud was reported at a U.S. Highway 2 West business Monday at 9:04 a.m.

An arrest was made after a report Monday at 1:36 p.m. about a stolen vehicle recovery on U.S. Highway 2 East. No details on charges were included in the dispatch log, but Shayna Jo Marie Koop, who was named as an involved party, was listed in this morning's jail roster as being held on charges of partner or family member assault, two counts of possession of dangerous drugs, two counts of possession with intent to sell and possession of drug paraphernalia and on a District Court warrant from Cascade County Sheriff's Office.

Isaiah Thomas Doney of Havre, 27, was arrested on a Justice or City court warrant and a charge of obstructing a peace officer or other public servant after a caller on U.S. Highway 87 near Laredo asked deputies Monday at 5:46 p.m. for assistance.

Deputies investigated a theft, forgery or fraud at a Box Elder business at 2:24 a.m. today.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical technicians responded to five calls Monday and two calls, in conjunction with fire calls, early this morning.

Firefighters responded to a two calls this morning, at 12:55 and 3:16 a.m., on the 1900 Block of First Street Northeast, where a fire alarm had been deliberately pulled each time.

Havre Animal Shelter

The shelter this morning held a 6-week-old kitten of unknown gender, seven male cats and three female cats.

The shelter also held seven mixed-breed dogs and seven mixed-breed puppies from 8-weeks- to 9-months-old. Additionally, one female 8-week-old mixed-breed puppy and a male mixed-breed dog were being housed off-site.
