Havre Police Department

A caller on First Street reported at 8:26 a.m. Thursday that an item had been stolen off the back porch during the night.

Acoya Nathan Gopher of Box Elder, 25, was arrested on charges of disorderly conduct and resisting arrest after officers made a prisoner transport from Blaine County Sheriff's Office at noon Thursday and a caller reported at 4:24 p.m. that a man was laying halfway in a side street off Fifth Avenue.

A hit-and-run crash in Havre was reported Thursday at 1 p.m.

--

A caller reported their daughter was in a vehicle crash at Havre High School Thursday at 3:37 p.m. and all parties were present and waiting for officers.

A 12-year-old was issued a summons on a charge of theft, and an 11-year-old was issued a summons on charges of theft and vandalism after a caller on 14th Street reported Thursday at 3:56 p.m. that bikes had been stolen.

A written or verbal warning was issued after a 5:06 p.m. caller reported four boys were trying to kick in bathroom doors at Pepin Park on Seventh Avenue.

Officers investigated a Thursday 5:16 p.m. report from 15th Avenue of a missing .38 special.

Gordon James Bacon of Box Elder, 43, was arrested on a shoplifting charge after a beer theft was reported at a First Street West business Thursday at 5:28 p.m.

Thomas James Jones of Havre, 38, was arrested on a disorderly conduct charge after a verbal argument was reported between a man and a woman at a First Street establishment Thursday at 7:27 p.m.

A two-vehicle crash was reported at 1:52 a.m. today right out side of the police station on Fourth Street.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

Valente Lopez of Rudyard, 41, was arrested on a state District Court warrant served Thursday at 9:33 a.m. on Third Street Northwest in Rudyard.

Theft of catalytic converters was reported on 15th Avenue North Thursday at 6:26 p.m.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical technicians responded to five calls Wednesday.

Havre Animal Shelter

The shelter this morning held four 7-week-old kittens of unknown gender, four female cats and six male cats.

--

The shelter also held six dogs, three 8-week-old puppies, and five puppies from 13 weeks to 9 months old. Additionally, a female 16-week-old puppy, a female 10-week-old puppy and a male dog were being housed off-site.
