Air quality in the region continued to be low over the wekend, with the air quality monitor at the Hill County Health Department showing occasions Saturday and Sunday when it tipped into the “very unhealthy” category.
The Associated Press reports that smoke from dozens of raging wildfires in western Canada has drifted south into the United States and prompted the states of Colorado and Montana to issue air quality alerts.
