Thursday in Great Falls, Terek Shipp and the Havre Northstars stayed hot with a 13-0 and a 5-3 win over the Great Falls Chargers. With the sweep, the Northstars improved their record to 26-13-1 and have extended their winning streak to 10 straight games.
Over the past couple weeks, the Havre Northstars American Legion baseball club has found its groove with an eight-game winning streak. And Thursday down in Great Falls, the Northstars continued their winning ways with 13-0 and 5-3 wins in a sweep against the Great Falls Chargers.
The Northstars started the doubleheader with their 13-0 win over the Chargers. After a pair of singles to start the top of the first inning, Kale Reno scored on a fielder's choice to give Havre the lead.
