Havre Police Department

Martin Duane Flying Jr. of Havre, 31, was issued a summons on a criminal contempt charge related to a no show for the 24/7 Sobriety Program at 8:07 a.m. Wednesday.

An Eighth Street caller reported Wednesday at 10:03 a.m. that someone had tossed a backpack into the backyard.

A theft was reported at a First Street business Wednesday at 1:13 p.m.

Tonylee Andrew Sears of Havre, 22, was arrested on a disorderly conduct charge after a Wednesday 3:06 p.m. caller at a First Street business reported that an intoxicated man from an earlier complaint had returned to the parking lot.

Skylah Marie Morsette of Box Elder, 27, was arrested on a shoplifting charge after a 4:02 p.m. Wednesday caller at a First Street business reported that a woman from a previous complaint had returned.

A break-in was reported on First Street at 4:55 p.m. Wednesday.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

An 9:35 a.m. Wednesday caller on County Road 405 South reported coming awake on the floor and thought he had been stabbed in the back. Hill County Sheriff Jamie Ross said the investigation is still ongoing, but initial evidence leads deputies to believe that the person was injured striking a household object when falling and no other person was involved.

William James Gopher of Havre, 48, was arrested on a state District Court warrant at Hill County Detention Center Wednesday at 10:57 a.m.

A Rudyard caller on County Road 95 North reported vandalism Wednesday at 10:36 a.m.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical technicians responded to three calls Tuesday, three calls Wednesday and one call, along with firefighters, to a vehicle crash on U.S. Highway 87 between mile markers 109 and 110 Thursday.

Havre Animal Shelter

The shelter Thursday morning held two cats and two 21-week-old kittens all of unknown gender, six male cats, two female cats and two male 11-week-old kittens. Additionally, two 13-week-old kittens were being housed off-site.

The shelter also held four female dogs, two male dogs and one male 7-month-old puppy. Additionally, a male dog was being housed off-site.
