Budget meeting and possible tax increase noticed up by Box Elder schools

The Box Elder Public School District 13G Board of Trustees will hold its final budget meeting Monday, Aug., 14, 2023, at 5 p.m. at the high school wing for the purpose of considering and adopting the final budget of the district.

The meeting of the trustees may be continued from day to day until until the final adoption of the district's budget, and any taxpayer in the district may appear at the meeting and be heard for or against any part of the budget.

The Board of Trustees of Box Elder Public Schools District 13G may budget an increase of revenue from the previous year. The percentage of increase will be set at the final budget meeting and a decision will be made after considering comments made at the hearing. All concerned persons are invited to attend the hearing, Aug. 14, 2023, at 5 p.m., at the high school wing on the possibility of budgeting increased property tax revenue.
