Havre Police Department

Amari Love Longknife of Havre, 18, was arrested on a criminal contempt charge related to a 24/7 Sobriety Program violation at 8:04 a.m. Thursday at the police station.

Martin Duane Flying Jr. of Havre, 31, was issued a summons on a criminal contempt charge related to a 24/7 Sobriety Program violation reported at 8:08 a.m. Thursday at the police station.

Neil J. Burkstrand of Havre, 37, was arrested on charges of aggravated burglary, partner or family member assault, violation of protective order and vandalism after a disturbance was reported on First Avenue Thursday at 9:50 a.m.

Officers investigated a 10:49 a.m. Thursday complaint from a Second Street business.

Jennifer Ann Brockett of Havre, 39, was arrested on a charge of assault with a weapon after a Second Street caller reported being assaulted with a metal bar Thursday at 3:05 p.m.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

A non-injury vehicle crash was reported at 11:15 a.m. Thursday on the 800 Block of Second Street West.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical technicians responded to five calls Thursday, one in conjunction with a fire engine response to a vehicle crash on the 800 Block of Second Street West.

Havre Animal Shelter

The shelter this morning held three cats and three 3-week-old kittens all of unknown gender, three female cats, two 17-week-old kittens, four male cats, two 15-week-old kittens and one 9-month-old kitten.

The shelter also held three 14-week-old puppies, three male dogs, five female dogs, two 11-week-old puppies, a female St. Bernard dog and two female 6-month-old St. Bernard puppies, and nine 16-week-old puppies. Additionally, six 11-week-old puppies and a male dog were being housed off-site.
