Here is a perfect example of why I think shopping at our local Havre businesses is so important.

Two weeks ago, I purchased a world globe at Ben Franklin Crafts for my grandson’s upcoming birthday. Today (Saturday), I decided to take the globe out of the box to look at it before wrapping. I was disappointed to see that the globe was broken in several places. Since I had misplaced the sales receipt, I was not sure if I would be able to return the globe.
