Havre Police Department

A van was reported in the ditch on 14th Avenue Wednesday at 7:47 a.m.

A vehicle crash on 6th Street was reported at 12:12 p.m. Wednesday.

--

A 12:53 p.m. Wednesday caller reported a vehicle crash on Summit Avenue.

--

A theft, forgery or fraud was reported in the First Street alley at 7:05 p.m. Wednesday.

--

Child Protective Services made a report to Havre Police Wednesday at 7:10 p.m.

--

A written or verbal warning was issued after a noise complaint was made at 10:53 p.m. Wednesday on Ninth Avenue.

Jaylene Rae Pinkerton of Havre, 49, was arrested on a charge of no vehicle insurance, owner, and on a Justice or City court warrant, and Lester Tyrel Skramstad of Havre, 33, was arrested on a charge of driving with a suspended or revoked driver's license and on two Justice or City court warrants after a vehicle stop on 14th Avenue at 12:14 a.m. today.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

Sheriff's office dispatch reported no arrests, summonses, warnings or investigations in the 24-hour reporting period, but several reports of non-injury vehicle crashes and abandoned vehicles were referred to Montana Highway Patrol.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical technicians responded to five calls Wednesday and one call early this morning.

Havre Animal Shelter

This morning the animal shelter held seven 8-week-old kittens, six female cats, three male cats and a male 11-week-old kitten.

Also this morning, the animal shelter held one 6-month-old puppy, five female dogs, 11 puppies between 8 and 24 weeks old, and a male 7-month-old puppy. Additionally, two 17-week-old puppies and one 12-week-old puppy were being housed off-site.
