Havre Police Department

A 12:24 p.m. Wednesday caller reported their pickup truck had been run into at Havre High School.

A caller on First Street asked Wednesday at 4:53 p.m. to speak with officers about suspicious activity.

The theft of license plates from a vehicle parked at a Second Street West business was reported Wednesday at 5:13 p.m.

--

Tyler Roy Lawrence of Rocky Boy, 30, was arrested on a Justice or City court warrant served at Hill County Detention Center Wednesday at 5:20 p.m.

A caller reported at 8:38 p.m. Wednesday that two teenagers were trying to take city equipment at Ridge Road and First Avenue.

--

A caller on Second Street reported Wednesday at 11:32 p.m. that a family member had been assaulted.

--

Joseph Allen Stump of Great Falls, 34, was arrested on a Justice or City court warrant after an officer initiated investigation of two people sleeping inside the post office at 12:13 a.m. today.

A caller at a First Street West business reported at 2:07 a.m. today finding a baggie that possibly contained drugs.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

An injured dog was reported near Beaver Creek Reservoir Wednesday 12:02 p.m., and the caller said they would turn the dog over to deputies at Bear Paw Veterinary Service.

A report of a vehicle hitting a deer Wednesday at 6:42 p.m. on U.S. Highway 2 West was referred to Montana Highway Patrol.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical technicians responded to three calls Wednesday, and firefighters had to reset an alarm on the 800 Block of Fourth Street at 10:16 a.m. Wednesday.

Havre Animal Shelter

This morning the animal shelter held six 9-week-old kittens, seven female cats and three male cats.

Also this morning, the animal shelter held one 6-month-old puppy, a female pit bull, four mixed breed female dogs and nine puppies between 9 and 16 weeks old.
