Havre Police Department

A summons was issued after a caller on Second Street reported Thursday at 9:32 a.m. being bitten by a dog.

A Thursday 10:43 a.m. caller on Washington Avenue reported items had been stolen.

Officers assisted Havre Fire Department at a fire on Boulevard Avenue at 12:24 p.m. Thursday.

A caller with a First Street organization asked Thursday at 5:37 p.m. to speak with an officer about an incident.

A caller at a U.S. Highway 2 West business reported at 8:40 p.m. Thursday that a customer saw someone messing with their vehicle.

Konner Andrew-Shane Brogdon of Havre, 20, was arrested on a disorderly conduct charge after a Second Street caller reported someone yelling for help Friday at 1:33 a.m.

A written or verbal warning was issued after a Friday 11:33 a.m. caller reported kids were playing where a Boulevard Avenue house fire had been the previous day.

Susan Elizabeth Leens of Havre, 18, was arrested on two Justice or City court warrants served on Eighth Street at 4:35 p.m. Friday.

Craton Cye Nelson of Havre, 21, was arrested on two Justice or City court warrants and on charges of driving while using an electronic communication device, careless driving and no vehicle insurance after a vehicle stop on Second Street West Friday at 6:11 p.m.

A Friday 7:01 p.m. caller on First Avenue reported returning home to find items missing.

Chad Allen Wagner of Havre, 27, was arrested on two Justice or City court warrants and Jona Jo Bear of Havre, 34, was a arrested on three Justice or City court warrants after officers stopped at 9:50 p.m. Friday to investigate suspicious activity on the hill at 13th Street and Fifth Avenue.

A 1:46 a.m. Saturday crash involving a Pontiac and Ford was reported on First Street.

A 2003 silver Pontiac was reported stolen Saturday at 12:26 p.m. on Third Avenue.

Jessica Lynn Demarrias of Harlem, 34, was arrested on a charge of obstructing a peace officer or other public servant and Martin Duane Flying Jr. of Havre, 31, was arrested on three Justice or City court warrants and charges of possession of drug paraphernalia and obstructing a peace officer or other public servant in relation to a 3:14 p.m. Saturday report from a First Street establishment of a man and a woman in the bathroom possibly doing drugs and a 3:40 p.m. report of a man passed out on the side of the U.S. Highway 2 West and a follow-up call that the man had left.

Filberta Mae Skidmore of Havre, 46, was issued a summons on charges of unauthorized use of a vehicle, driving with a suspended or revoked driver's license and expired vehicle registration after a Ninth Street caller reported Saturday at 9:20 p.m. that a green Chevrolet Malibu had been stolen about three hours earlier.

Sasha Valeen Longknife of Fort Belknap, 40, was arrested on charges of trespass to property and obstructing a peace officer or other public servant after the Saturday 10:41 p.m. caller at a First Street establishment reported a woman was in the entry and would not leave.

A 13th Street West caller reported Sunday at 8:39 a.m. they had backed into a vehicle.

Falcon Leigh Meyers of Havre, 28, was issued a summons on a charge of violation of a no contact order after a Third Street juvenile reported adult relatives fighting at 8:44 a.m. Sunday.

Someone stopped at the police station Sunday at 12:09 p.m. and reported that someone else had been using his credit cards.

--

A caller at a First Street West establishment asked Sunday at 4:31 p.m. to speak with an officer about issues with an employee from the previous night.

--

A Third Street caller asked at 5:42 p.m. Sunday to speak with an officer.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

A dog bite was reported by a caller at a U.S. Highway 2 East business Thursday at 4:39 p.m.

Daryl Kuli Gone of Great Falls, 30, was arrested on a Justice or City court warrant and Jasmin Shay Demontiney of Box Elder, 27, was arrested on seven Justice or City court warrants served at Hill County Detention Center Friday at 1:20 p.m.

Gary Ronald Bain of Great Falls, 70, was arrested on charges for violating county ordinance that prohibits hunting on Beaver Creek Park and violating county ordinance that prohibits killing a deer on the park, and James Alan Slagle of Lynden, Washington, 47, was arrested on a charge of violating county ordinance that prohibits hunting on the park, after a caller on Beaver Creek Park reported at 4:30 p.m. Saturday that two hunters had killed a deer on the park. Hill County Undersheriff Stan Martin said the men left the scene and were subsequently stopped by Montana Highway Patrol Troopers on Laredo Road.

Colorado James McConnell of Havre, 24, was arrested on nine Justice or City court warrants and charges of possession of drug paraphernalia and violation of conditions of release, after a caller at a U.S. Highway 2 West business reported a man with warrants Sunday at 6:04 p.m.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical technicians responded to five calls Thursday, four calls Friday, five calls Saturday and four calls Sunday.

Firefighters responded to a Thursday 9:08 a.m. fire alarm on the 800 Block of Fourth Street, where a stove fire had started, but was put out by the caller prior to arrival. Havre Fire Chief Nathan Courtnage said damage was contained to the stove where wires on an element were melted.

Firefighters responded to a structure fire reported at 12:22 p.m. Thursday on Boulevard Avenue. Courtnage said this was a fully involved house fire and they responded with two engines, two ambulances, a command vehicle and 12 firefighters. The house, he said, was a total loss including all the contents, as well as the occupants' four cats and one dog. No one was injured though two people were checked at the scene. He added that investigation showed the area where the fire originated, but with this much damage they could not tell what started the fire.

Havre Animal Shelter

This morning the animal shelter held five female cats, three male cats, three 11-week-old kittens and one cat of unknown gender.

Also this morning, the animal shelter held six female mixed-breed dogs, one male 6-month-old puppy, nine puppies between 11 and 17 weeks old, and a female German shepherd.
