Unwrap the season at the Festival of Trees

Boys & Girls Club of the Hi-Line fundraiser set for Saturday

Press release

A limited number of tickets are available for the main Boys & Girls Club of the Hi-Line fundraiser, The Festival of Trees, set for Saturday with the doors at the club opening at 6:30 p.m.

The event includes live and silent auctions for trees and donated items.

Numerous trees will be auctioned, including an entry from Havre's Optimist Club that has a beanie, scarf/neckerchief, a local-photos 2024 calendar, a tree skirt, a barnwood cross and horseshoe clock letter holder, a Western rope wreath, a $50 Norman's Ranch and Sportswear gift certificate, wooden Western decorations, a spa basket, a handmade wooden stagecoach, corral and cowboy Nativity, and a custom-made Montana Hammer Knife.

Another tree, from Bullhook Community Health Center, includes rustic farm ornaments, frosted berries and is topped with a rustic pine star and burlap ribbon, sitting inside a rustic red truck driven by a highland heifer. Along with the tree is a 22-inch portable Blackstone Grill with a collection of spices, rubs and sauces from Made in Montana and locally owned businesses, and a $200 gift certificate to Bear Paw Meats along with a 10-pound bucket of bacon from the Hi-Line.

This year, 150 tickets will be sold for an "Ultimate Winner" drawing, with the winner able to choose any tree on the auction block.

Among the donations are a Ladies Goldstone Citizen Eco-Friendly watch donated by JM Donovan Designs in Fine Jewelry and a Custom River coffee table with a gift certificate to Evergreen Landscaping and a holiday tree display, and five children's books about trees.

Another donation to the auctions is a Montana Silversmiths Collection with matching bracelet and earring set, and a meal for 12 from Montana Style Events. Cliff Springer has donated a handcrafted Yeti Customs leather purse.
