Havre Police Department

Matin Duane Flying Jr. of Havre, 31, was arrested on charges of possession of drug paraphernalia, trespass to property and obstructing a peace officer of other public servant and on a Justice or City court warrant, and Jessica Lynn Demarrias of Havre, 34, was arrested on charges of possession of drug paraphernalia, trespass to property and obstructing a peace officer or other public servant after a First Avenue caller reported at 7:55 a.m. Tuesday two trespassers were asleep on the caller's couch.

Bryce Nathan Shettel of Havre, 18, was arrested on a Justice or City court warrant served during a vehicle stop on 17th Street West Tuesday at 12:20 p.m.

Savannah Kay Stewart of Havre, 20, was arrested on charges of driving under the influence, underage tobacco possession or consumption and speeding after a 3:15 p.m. Tuesday vehicle stop on Fifth Avenue.

A two-vehicle non-injury crash was reported Tuesday at 4:12 p.m. on U.S. Highway 2 Northwest.

Officers assisted Havre Fire Department during a medical call on First Street at 9:32 p.m. Tuesday.

--

Someone who stopped at the police station Tuesday at 10:51 p.m. asking for help getting to the hospital was given assistance.

An arrest was made after officers performed a foot patrol on First Street West at 1:28 a.m. today. No details on the charges were provided in the dispatch log, but Angela JoMarie Gonyea, who was named as an involved party, was listed in this morning's jail roster as being held on charges of obstructing justice and failure to comply, and out-of-county charges of theft and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Officers provided assistance at 4:56 a.m. today to sheriff's deputies at the landfill.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

A written or verbal warning was issued after a suspicious vehicle was reported at the landfill at 4:34 a.m. today.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical technicians responded to four calls Tuesday and two calls early this morning.

Firefighters were responded to a call at 9:51 p.m. on First Street and no action was required.

Havre Animal Shelter

This morning the animal shelter held two 6-month-old kittens, four 14-week-old kittens and one cat all of unknown gender, three female cats, six kittens between 13 weeks and 6 months old, and two male cats.

Also this morning, the animal shelter held four female mixed-breed dogs, five puppies between 13 and 20 weeks old, and a female German shepherd. Additionally, two puppies, ages 16-weeks and 22-week, were being housed offsite.
