Dinosaur Christmas, appearance by Santa, bake sale also set at the mall
Children create crafts with their parents at Dinosaur Christmas in the Holiday Villiage Mall in 2015. Dinosaur Christmas returns to the mall Saturday 1-4 p.m., a visit by Santa Claus at 2 p.m. and a bake sale starting 10 a.m. along with a Highland Park Early Primary School book fair today through Saturday.
Among the holiday events being held at the Holiday Village Mall this week and weekend is Highland Park Early Primary School's Winter Book Fair from today through Saturday.
Highland Park Principal Hayley Criner said the event is run by the school's Parent-Teacher Organization and raises funds for their library, so any support they get will promote reading for children in the area.
"We appreciate their support and helping us get books in kids' hands," Criner said. "That's always a good thing."
