This past weekend, the Havre High wrestling teams got their season started with the Havre Invite at Havre High Gymnasium. In their first action of the season, several Blue Ponies performed well and placed in their brackets.
In the boys 126-pound weight class, Grady Haney finished first for the Ponies. He started his run with a pin against Chinook's Kegan Green. In his semifinal match against Cut Bank's Bridger Molenda, Haney won with a 10-0 major decision. In the title match, Haney pinned Butte Central's Devin Rossiter to take first.
