Havre Police Department

A written or verbal warning was issued after a Sixth Street caller reported Monday at 12:29 p.m. that a strange woman was trying to get through a neighbor's gate.

Elizabeth Ann Belcourt of Box Elder, 60, was arrested on a Justice or City court warrant after a vehicle stop on 16th Avenue Monday at 2:23 p.m.

A Boulevard Avenue caller reported at 2:41 p.m. Monday that suspicious items left on a family member's doorstep.

A written or verbal warning was issued after a 16th Avenue caller asked for assistance Monday at 3:34 p.m. removing a female trespasser.

--

A 3:40 p.m. Monday caller on Eighth Avenue reported a hit and run vehicle crash.

--

A written or verbal warning was issued after a Monday 5:22 p.m. caller reported that someone had parked their vehicle in the caller's backyard on Washington Avenue, then left in another vehicle.

A Monday at 7:08 p.m. caller on Third Street reported that a blue bike had been stolen a week prior.

--

A caller at a First Street West business reported at 8:05 p.m. Monday that a driver had hit the building with their vehicle then drove away.

Sheron Faye Saddler of Havre, 29, was arrested on six Justice or City court warrants served on First Street at 9:17 p.m. Monday.

A Second Street caller reported at 12:29 a.m. today seeing two people trying to get into the caller's residence then messing with the caller's car. Officers search for but couldn't locate the suspects.

Jordan Michael Johnson of Fort Belknap, 43, was arrested on a pick up and hold order after officers initiated investigation of a vehicle that was parked and running in a U.S. Highway 2 Northwest parking lot at 1:04 a.m. today.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

An 8:33 a.m. Monday report that a vehicle on Bullhook Road had just rolled into the caller's yard was referred to Montana Highway Patrol.

Theresa Kate Small of Havre, 44, was arrested on a Justice or City court warrant after a vehicle stop on Montana Avenue Monday at 9:32 p.m.

Troopers responded to an 8:33 a.m. Monday 911 call about a vehicle crash with an injury on Bullhook Road. Trooper Conor Doyle said that the driver reported his pickup truck's turbo kicked in on an icy patch of the gravel road and caused him to lose control. The vehicle went off the road and rolled, ejecting the driver, who was seen by Havre Fire Department emergency medical technicians but refused transport to the hospital.

Emergency medical technicians responded to eight calls Monday and two calls early this morning.

Havre Animal Shelter

This morning the animal shelter held four female cats, eight kittens between 15 weeks and 6 months old, and two male cats.

Also this morning, the animal shelter held four puppies between 14 and 21 weeks old, three female mixed-breed dogs, a female and a male Rottweiler, a female German shepherd and two male pitbull terriers. Additionally, two puppies, ages 18-weeks and 23-weeks, were being housed offsite.
