Havre Police Department

A 10th Street caller reported Thursday at 7:57 a.m. the caller's son had hit a snow route sign.

A written or verbal warning was issued after a caller asked Thursday at 10:36 a.m. for help removing a woman from a First Street Northeast residence.

A caller on Second Street Northeast asked Thursday at 12:47 p.m. to speak with officers about some fictitious papers.

A two-vehicle crash was reported Thursday at 7:07 p.m. at Fourth Avenue and Fourth Street.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

Sheriff's Office dispatch log reported no arrests, summonses or investigations in the 24-hour reporting period.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical technicians responded to two calls Thursday and two calls early this morning, and one good intent call Thursday at 1:16 p.m. on Third Street, but no one was made available to provide details.

Havre Animal Shelter

This morning the animal shelter held five cats of unknown gender, two female cats, four male cats and a 21-week-old male kitten.

Also this morning, the animal shelter held 15 puppies between 10 weeks and 9 months old, and one female mixed-breed dog. Additionally, six 15-week-old puppies were being housed off-site.

Births

A girl was born Thursday, Jan. 11, 2024, to Brittany and David Taylor of Chinook.
