VA sets outreach schedule in region

Veteran Service officers for the Montana Veterans Affairs will be visiting the following locations to meet with veterans who are interested in applying for benefits. Anyone interested in applying for benefits, needs to bring a copy of their discharge paperwork, DD214, with them to any of the following scheduled visit times.

 

Tuesday, Feb. 6, 2024

• Browning, 1-4 p.m., Blackfeet Veteran Center.

Wednesday, Feb. 7, 2024

• Cut Bank, 8:30-10:30 a.m., Glacier County Courthouse Annex, Room 19.

• Shelby, 12:30-2:30 p.m., Shelby Court House Lower Level.

Tuesday, Feb. 13, 2024

• Glasgow, 1-4 p.m., Glasgow VA Clinic.

Wednesday, Feb. 14, 2024

• Malta, 9:30-11:30 a.m., Malta City Hall.

 

Monday, Feb. 19, 2024

• Closed for federal holiday

 

Tuesday, Feb. 20, 2024

• Browning, 1-4 p.m., Blackfeet Veteran Center.

Wednesday, Feb. 21, 2024

• Cut Bank, 8:30-10:30 a.m., Glacier County Courthouse Annex, Room 19.

• Shelby, 12:30-2:30 p.m., Shelby Court House Lower Level.

 

Veterans and family members who are unable to meet with a Veteran Service officer at a specified location should call 406-265-4225 to make other meeting arrangements.

If bad weather exists on days of travel, people can stay tuned to the local radio stations for updated information regarding the outreach schedule.
