Students set to compete at Hill County Spelling Bee

The winners and placers of the local school spelling bees are gearing up to compete at the Hill County Spelling Bee, set for Thursday starting at 9 a.m. in the Havre Middle School Assembly Room, with a chance to earn a berth at the state spelling bee on the line.

The state bee, the 59th Annual Treasure State Spelling Bee is scheduled to start at 1 p.m. March 9 on the Montana State University campus in Bozeman.
