Havre Police Department

A 12:06 p.m. Tuesday request to give someone a ride home from the hospital was referred to another agency.

A Sage Brush Drive caller asked Tuesday at 1:21 p.m. to speak with an officer.

Officers were asked Tuesday at 1:59 p.m. to provide a VIN inspection on Third Street.

A caller at a First Street establishment reported at 3:39 p.m. Tuesday someone had stolen the caller's wallet and was trying to use the contents to purchase items online.

Officers provided assistance after a Tuesday 4:50 p.m. caller reported a man on Ninth Avenue scooting up the sidewalk on his back.

Officers assisted Child Protective Services in Havre at 7:47 p.m. Tuesday.

--

A beer theft was reported at a First Street West business Tuesday at 7:50 p.m.

--

A Third Avenue West caller reported Tuesday at 9:42 p.m. that a man was trying to break into the caller's residence and the incident was resolved peacefully.

Officers were asked at 9:53 p.m. Tuesday to assist sheriff's office deputies on First Street West.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

Deputies provided transportation and escort between Hill County Detention Center and City Court Tuesday at 8:58 a.m.

A summons was issued after a vehicle stop at Taylor Road and Beaver Creek Highway at 2:53 p.m. Tuesday. No details on charges were provided.

A Tuesday 7:04 p.m. report of a vehicle in the ditch along U.S. Highway 2 near mile marker 365 east of Kremlin was referred to Montana Highway Patrol.

Theron Lee Bigleggins of Havre, 32, was arrested on a Justice or City court warrant served on First Street West Tuesday at 9:45 p.m.

--

Deputies also served or attempted to serve several warrants Tuesday.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical technicians responded to three calls Tuesday and one call early this morning.

Havre Animal Shelter

This morning the animal shelter held two cats and six kittens all of unknown gender, four male cats, one male 21-week-old kitten, three female cats and a 6-month-old female kitten.

Also this morning, the animal shelter held 11 mixed-breed puppies between 4 weeks and 6 months old, five female mixed-breed dogs and one male mixed-breed dog and a male bulldog. Additionally, two 22-week-old puppies, five 5-week-old puppies and one 8-week-old puppy were being housed off-site.
