Chinook man killed in car crash March 17

Montana Highway Patrol released a report Saturday about the dearth of a Chinook man after a single-vehicle car crash the afternoon of March 17 on Montana Secondary Highway 529, also known as Clear Creek Road.

Blaine County Sheriff/Coroner John Colby said the man who died was Larry Larson of Chinook, 68.

Highway Patrol reports that it is believed that as medical emergency happened prior to the crash.

The eastbound Chevrolet Silverado left the south side of the roadway at about 2:05 p.m. March 17, traveling in the ditch for several hundred feet and striking a tree with the passenger side of the vehicle.

Larson was not wearing a seatbelt, the report said.
