Havre boil advisory downgraded to health advisory

The city of Havre announced today the boil water advisory issued April 19 has been downgraded to a health advisory.

The release announced the downgrade says people with compromised immune systems, infants and some elderly may be at higher risk. These people should seek advice about drinking water from their health care advisors. General guidelines on ways to lessen the risk of infection by microbes are available from U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s Safe Drinking Water Hotline at 1-800-426-4791.
