Havre Weekly Chronicle in the racks today

This week's print edition of Havre Weekly Chronicle went out to the stores and racks today, although press problems forced it to be printed in black and white only.

Press delays also prevented it being mailed today. The edition will be mailed to subscribers Tuesday.

After 14 work-hours Friday - Thanks to Derek Vaughn and Stacy Mantle of Hill County Printing for Vaughn's help with the press Friday - it appeared Friday evening the problems were resolved.

But the press operator, after coming in at 5 a.m. to make adjustments, found another issue. After more than three hours of work he found that he couldn't resolve the problem today.

The color pages were converted to black and white and a non-color edition is hitting the streets this afternoon.
