Third Annual Montana Wounded Warrior Poker Run and Fundraiser set for June 1

The Third Annual Montana Wounded Warrior Poker Run will be held during Memorial Day weekend.

Registration begins at 9:30 a.m. on June 1. The money raised will go to the Montana Wounded Warrior program for funding a guided fishing or hunting trip for one of the states wounded warriors.

The Poker Run will start at the Havre Elk’s Club. Poker Run stops are Chinook’s Pastime Bar and Mint Bar, Hays Pow Wow Grounds, Malta’s Mint Bar, Chinook Eagles and Bear Paw Saloon. The final destination will be back at the Havre Elk’s Club.

The entry fee will be $25 per poker hand, including dinner. Dinner without a poker hand is $5 per person. Dinner will be pulled-pork sandwiches with beans and salads.

Entertainment for the night will be the Melissa Lynn Band from Great Falls and will be free to the public.

Both silent and live auctions will be held.
