Area thinclads place at state track

Several area athletes reached the podium at last weekend’s Class C state track meet in Great Falls.

In the girls’ 100-meter dash, Fort Benton’s Ally Jaques ran a personal-best 12.84, which was good for third place. Ali Doyle of Turner was a 200-meter podium placer, doing it in 27.42. Turner also had finalists in the 400 meters as Ryan Doyle was fourth in running a 51.36, while Bridget Reed took fifth with a 1:01.18.
