All-Stars have a winning season

The Havre 11-year-old All-Stars finished with a record of 15-6 this season, including five shutout games and one no-hitter.

In the 21 games they played, they gave up 65 runs, had a total of 162 runs and didn't lose to another team of 11-year-olds.

Team members are Adam Briese, Beau Briese, Michael Hickman, Kyle Miller, Brett Normandy, Shane Kemmer, Cameron Schilling, Ryne LaBuda, Jack Teske, Tyler The Boy, Dylan Patterson, Paul Jensen and Tucker Parman. Bruce Normandy and Lyle Miller were the coaches.

The All-Stars began the season with a tournament in Rudyard in late June, compiling a record of three wins and two losses. They finished second behind the Havre 12-year-old All-Stars, who won the championship game 2-0.

The 11-year-olds next compiled a 2-2 record at the Fire Cracker tournament in Kalispell over the July Fourth weekend.

The boys struggled in a loss to Fairfield in the first game of the Choteau tournament July 12-14 but won their next four, including a 14-2 win over Fairfield in the B Bracket championship game.

The All-Stars went 4-1 in a tournament in Kalispell to end their season, finishing third and giving up only eight runs.
