Chinook captures Conrad Invitational


It may seem a little early, but the first weekend of high school volleyball has come and passed with all area teams taking the floor for the first time this season.

As a whole there were mixed results throughout with several 6C teams starting off slow at the Belt preseason tournament. However, the Blue Sky Eagles and the Chinook Sugarbeeters picked up some wins over the weekend.

Chinook, picked to be one of the top teams in District 2B, captured the Conrad Invitational tournament with a 25-17, 25-14 win over the Class A Browning Indians.
