Patrick Kevin Meredith, 47, died Sept. 16, 2008, of Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis often referred to as Lou Gehrig's Disease at the Plains Hospital and cremation as taken place.

Services are scheduled to be held at First Lutheran Church in Havre at 11 a. m. Saturday, Sept. 27, 2008. Pat was born May 9, 1961, in Malta to Harold and Ruth (Patrick) Meredith. Before being diagnosed with ALS, Pat spent most of his adult life in Las Vegas as a cook and southern California doing construction work. He continued his education with limited studies in community colleges of the local area in California. Pat was known for his unique sense of humor. He had a way of having fun that was both endearing and contagious. Pat loved music and enjoyed playing the guitar. Pat is survived by his mother, Ruth Meredith, of Havre; brothers, Alan of Guiyang, Guizhou, China, and Roger (Wanda) of Havre; sisters, Sherry (Larry) Culp of Noxon, Shelley of Havre, Susan (Geoffrey) Schmidt of Dillon, Colo., and Liza (David) Sorenson of Helen; eight nieces and nephews; two grandnephews; 12 aunts and uncles; and numerous other cousins and relatives.
