PAULINE T. KREZELAK obituary

Pauline (Tymofichuk) Krezelak, 90, died Feb. 24, 2009, at Northern Montana Care Center of natural causes.

A vigil will be held 7 p.m. Friday, Feb. 27, at the Holland & Bonine Funeral Home in Havre. The funeral Mass will be 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Jude's Catholic Church with the Rev. Robert Grosch presiding. Interment will immediately follow at Highland Cemetery followed by fellowship at the church parish center. Pauline was born in Scobey, Mont., on Aug. 4, 1918, to Andreas and Axana (Ann Yarmey) Tymofichuk. She attended high school in Scobey. She felt education was very important and encouraged her children to receive their diplomas. During World War II, Pauline lived in Portland, Ore., working in the shipyards where she installed ship compasses. While visiting her sister, Anne Pruttis, in Havre, she met her future husband, Francis Krezelak. They were married in Temple, Texas, on Sept. 25, 1944. Pauline was preceded in death by her husband, Francis Krezelak; parents, Andro and Anne Tymofichuk; brothers, Nick, William (Bill), John, Mike and Frank Tymofichuk; sisters, Anne (Gene) Pruttis and Helen Tymofichuk; and an infant sibling. She is survived by her sons, Philip (Sue) Krezelak, Miles City, Mont.; Francis “Paul” (Sue) Krezelak, Billings, Mont.; Joseph (Sue) Krezelak, Bonney Lake, Wash.; Dave (Becky) Krezelak, Havre; her daughter, Francine (Raymond) Brady, Havre; and her sister, Mary (Bill) Brayko of Scobey, Mont. She also is survived by 16 grandhildren and 14 great grandchildren. Pauline was a member of St. Jude's Catholic Church; Catholic Daughters; Eagles' Auxiliary and the VFW Auxiliary. Memorials may be given to Havre-Hill County Library, St. Jude's School or the Charity of one's choice. Services are in the care of Holland & Bonine Funeral Home of Havre.
