ViolEt M. “VI” WooDS, obituaries INVERNESS

Violet M. “Vi” Woods, 99, an Inverness area farm wife who taught school in Inverness from 1950 to 1975 and enjoyed reading, crocheting and walking, died of natural causes on Thursday at the Liberty Medical Center in Chester.

Funeral services will be 11 a. m. Monday at the Chester United Methodist Church. A reception will follow at the church. Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Monday at the Highland Cemetery in Havre.
