RALPH E. BREVIK obituary

Ralph E. Brevik, 62, of Spokane, Wash., passed away April 28, 2010, in Post Falls, Idaho. Ralph was born Sept. 22, 1947, in Havre, Mont., the son of Ralph N. and Genabell (Rathbun) Brevik. He was raised in Havre and graduated from Havre High School in 1965. After high school, he attended college at Northern Montana College where he studied electronics. After three years at Northern Montana College, he moved to Spokane where he attended Spokane Community College. During his studies at SCC, he was drafted into the U.S. Army where he was stationed at Fort Lewis. After being discharge from the Army, he returned to Spokane to finish his studies in photography. In 1973, Ralph met and married Linda Shaw. Later Ralph entered an apprenticeship with the Carpenter's Union in Spokane and became a journeyman carpenter. He worked as a carpenter until he went into business for himself making wood products and selling them at craft shows. Ralph enjoyed woodworking, photography, camping, fishing and traveling. He is survived by his wife, Linda, and their three children Ralph, Shannon and Aaron, and his wife Sierra, all of Spokane. He is also survived by one granddaughter, Luella. A funeral service was held on May 1, 2010, at the Sherman Knapp Funeral Home in Priest River, Idaho. The interment followed at the Evergreen Cemetery.
