Chinook girls take it to HHS on the courts

In a non-scoring dual, the Chinook girls tennis team got the better of the Havre Blue Ponies. On Tuesday afternoon at the Bill Vaughey Memorial Tennis Courts in Havre, the Sugarbeeters took 15 of the 18 matches played between the two schools. Chinook was especially strong in singles, winning nine of 10 matches against the defending Class A state champions. Next up for Havre High is the Havre Invitational Saturday morning. The Ponies will host Lewistown, Cut Bank and Conrad in a tournament.
