MSU-N inks Lewistown spiker

Montana State University-Northern volleyball coach Bill Huebsch is starting his recruiting class for 2011.

Huebsch recently announced the signing of Lewistown's Dayna Jensen, a 5-8 outside hitter. Jensen was a three-year varsity player for Coach Tara Taylor's Eagles, winning State Class "A" titles in 2008 and 2010.

During the 2010 season, she was named 1st Team All-Conference and 1st Team All-State, received the CO-MVP award at the State All-Class Volleyball Tournament in Bozeman and was named to the Great Falls Tribune Super-State Volleyball Team.

Dayna chose Northern because of "the friendly environment that the campus and its instructors provide, the chemistry of the volleyball team and having the opportunity to play at the next level."
