Havre man jailed after stabbing

A man was admitted into the hospital Friday night with a stab wound to the neck received just east of Havre.

According to Hill County Sheriff Don Brostrom, 49-year-old Havre man Randall Redeagle, was "going to a residence east of Havre. He went up to the door and was stabbed in the neck. "

Redeagle was taken to Northern Montana Hospital, while his alleged assailant, 56-year-old Havre resident Kenneth Piapot, was arrested on charges including aggravated assault and assault with a weapon.
