Joan Eva Curley

Joan Eva (Trottier) Curley, 83, of Montana, went home to be with Jesus, March 7, 2012. She was born Feb. 21, 1929, in Chinook, Mont., the daughter of John and Annie Trottier, and they lived in Val Marie, Saskatchewan.

Joan worked as a licensed practical nurse, and she was an active Christian (daughter of Jesus). She enjoyed fellowship and spending time with her children, grandchildren and family and friends.

Joan Eva (Trottier) Curley is survived by her son, Terry Curley, his wife, Debbie, and their children, Aaron, Jason, Jennifer and James; daughter, Gail Wilmes, her husband, Mike, and their child, Nicholas and his wife, Sarah, Brooke-Lynn and Ryder; son, John Curley and wife, Tammy, and their children, Ashley, Sarah and Caleb; and daughter, Laurie Holme, and John and their sons, Robert and Riley; sisters, Dolly Bellefeville, Calgary, Alberta, Shirley Eklund, Malta, Mont. ; Dede Wirtzberger, Great Falls, Mont., and her brother, Jerry Trottier, Glenrock, Wyo. Joan was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Laura DeMontignym and Irene Demarais; brothers, Buzz Trottier and Lloyd Trottier; and sister, Ruth Grunerud.

A homecoming celebration for mom was held at 2:30 p. m., Saturday, March 10, 2012, at Solie Funeral Home, 3301 Colby Ave., Everett, Wash. Memorial condolences for the family of Joan Curley, c/o Gail Wilmes, 4207 114th St. S.E., Everett, WA 98208.
