William Davey

William R. "Bill" Davey of Havre, 65, passed away on Monday, March 4, 2013, at Northern Montana Hospital of natural causes.

Cremation has taken place, and a celebration of Bill's life will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, March 8, 2013, at the Havre Eagles Club. The family has requested that memorials be made in Bill's name to the American Heart Association.

Holland & Bonine Funeral Home has been entrusted with services and arrangements.

Bill was born on July 20, 1947, in Havre to Robert and Minnie (Chagnon) Davey. He was raised in Havre, attending schools here, and graduated from Havre High School. Following his carefree school years, Bill went to work building tractors for Torgerson's, Big Bud and Meisner Tractor. He loved to hunt and fish, and he enjoyed taking cars apart and putting them back together and collecting guns. His dream was to win the lottery. But most of all, Bill adored his children and grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Davey, in 2011.

Bill is survived by his fianceé DeeAnn Riddles of Havre; his daughters, Katie (Brian) Big Bow of Box Elder and Mary (James) Daniels of Yuba City, Calif .; his five grandchildren and one on the way; his great-granddaughter; his mother, Minnie Davey, of Havre; his brother, Fred (Violet) Davey of Havre; his sisters, Marie Davey of Bozeman and Barbara (Jack) Gard of Ohio; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
