A former Republican Havre mayor has returned to the ring.
Bob Rice, who won two elections to serve as Havre mayor before losing to Democrat Tim Solomon in the last election, filed this afternoon as a candidate.
As of 3:20 p.m., no Democrats had filed in the race.

I am so happy to read that former mayor Bob Rice is running for re-election. When mayor Bob was in office he would actually be out around our community interacting with the members of the Havre community. I have never seen mayor Solomon out interacting in the community. Former mayor Bob took pride in the appearance of the Havre community, military and our bordering country of Canada. Former mayor Bob did get it done! I say GO Former Mayor Bob!
