Ruby (Ruff) Boles

Ruby (Ruff) Boles, 93, of Hood River, Ore., passed away Jan. 10, 2014.

Ruby was born in Havre, Mont., the daughter of Martin and Emma Ruff.

She was raised on a farm just west of Havre and attended country grade school at Fort Assinniboine. She helped out on the farm and family dairy until she was 19 years old, then started High School and graduated in 1943.

Ruby married Jim Boles. They were the parents of twin sons.

Following Jim's death, she resided in Arizona and later returned to Oregon.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Jim, sister Mildred and brother Dennis.

She is survived by her sons, Donald and David; brothers, Delmer and Jim; sister Peggy Jo Gould; and numerous nieces and nephews.
