Diana 'Katie' Twedt

     Diana "Katie" Twedt, 62, a Rudyard farm wife, retired school teacher, and local artist, died of cancer on June 9.

Cremation and private family burial services at Rudyard Cemetery are being planned per Diana's wishes.  Arrangements are by Rockman Funeral Chapel, Chester.

A public luncheon to celebrate her life will be 1 p.m. Saturday, June 21, at Rudyard Park. Those attending are asked to wear bright, cheerful colors - no black! In lieu of flowers please offer memorials to the American Cancer Society, St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, Montana Farmer's Union Education Fund, Bear Paw Hospice in Havre, Liberty Village Arts Center in Chester, ASPCA or Montana Actors' Theatre.

Diana is survived by her husband of 40 years, Russ Twedt of Rudyard; son, Matt Twedt of Rudyard; daughter, Geneva Costa of Sioux Falls, South Dakota; five siblings; and many beloved nieces and nephews.
